Why would I need an ultrasound?
An ultrasound is the only method that can 100% confirm a pregnancy and determine how far along you are.
If you are considering abortion, it is very important that you first have an ultrasound to see if the pregnancy is viable. Abortion costs vary depending on how far along you are, which can also only be verified through a diagnostic ultrasound.
Is the morning after pill the same as the abortion pill?
Plan B, or the morning-after pill, is a form of emergency contraception. Emergency contraception is any type of birth control used after unprotected intercourse or contraceptive failure. It works to prevent conception, but if taken after conception has occurred, it can terminate the pregnancy. One of the most common emergency contraceptive pills is called Plan B One-Step®.
